What is Finance Interview Prep?
Finance Interview Prep is an interactive learning platform designed to help you ace your finance interviews. We offer 2,000+ practice questions across 8 specialized tracks including Private Equity, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, and more. Our practice-first approach helps you learn by doing, with instant feedback and progress tracking.
Do I really need to practice questions?
Yes. Finance interviews are about performing under pressure. You can't learn that from videos or reading PDFs alone—you need to practice answering questions and get feedback on where you're weak. Research shows that active recall (testing yourself) is far more effective for learning than passive review.
How is this different from Wall Street Prep or Breaking Into Wall Street?
Those platforms are primarily video courses focused on building financial models. We focus specifically on interview questions—the actual questions interviewers ask. You practice, get instant feedback, track your progress, and our adaptive system identifies your weak spots. Think of us as complementary: use them to learn modeling, use us to prepare for interviews.
What if I'm not sure which track to pick?
Start with any track you're interested in! You get 5 free questions per track, so you can try multiple tracks to see which role fits best. Many users explore 2-3 tracks before committing. You can also read our blog articles about different finance careers to help you decide.
How long does it take to prepare for an interview?
Most users feel interview-ready after 1-2 weeks of consistent practice (20-60 minutes per day). However, this varies based on your background and target role. Our progress tracking helps you identify when you've mastered the key concepts.
Pricing & Billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes! Every track offers 5 free questions so you can experience the platform before subscribing. No credit card required. After 5 questions, you'll see our instant feedback system, start tracking your progress, and understand how the platform works.
What are the pricing options?
We offer two plans: Single Track (€20/month) gives you access to one complete track with 2,000+ questions. All Tracks (€30/month) gives you access to all 8 tracks, cross-track analytics, and priority support. Both plans include detailed explanations, progress tracking, and gamified learning features.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. Your payment information is securely processed and never stored on our servers.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees or long-term commitments.
Do you offer refunds?
We're confident you'll find value in our platform, but we understand things don't always work out. If you experience any technical issues, please send us a screenshot or recording and report of what happened. Just reach out to us at info@financeinterviewprep.com and we will try to find a solution.
Platform Features
What types of questions are included?
We include multiple-choice questions (single and multi-select), numeric input questions (with tolerance checking), flashcards, ordering questions, and mini case studies. Each question type is designed to test different aspects of your knowledge, from quick recall to analytical thinking.
How does the adaptive learning system work?
Our system tracks your performance on each topic and question type. It identifies areas where you're struggling and prioritizes those in your practice sessions. The Review Mode specifically focuses on questions you've gotten wrong or haven't seen recently.
What is Drill Mode?
Drill Mode is a timed quiz feature that simulates interview pressure. You can customize the number of questions (5, 10, 15, or 20) and filter by difficulty or topic. Unlike Learn Mode, you don't see explanations during the drill—just like a real interview. You get a detailed summary at the end.
How do streaks and XP work?
You earn XP (experience points) for every correct answer, with bonus XP for streaks of correct answers. Maintaining a daily streak (practicing every day) multiplies your XP gain. You also earn badges for milestones like completing modules, maintaining streaks, and mastering topics.
Can I track my progress?
Yes! Your dashboard shows a radar chart of your performance across different topics, accuracy metrics, question counts, and weekly/monthly challenges. You can see exactly where you're strong and where you need more practice.

What tracks are available?
We currently offer 8 tracks: Private Equity, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, Asset Management, Equity Research, Private Debt, and Real Estate. Each track is designed by industry professionals with role-specific questions and company targets.
How many questions are there?
We have over 2,000 questions across all tracks, with each track containing hundreds of questions organized into modules. We regularly add new questions and update existing content based on current interview trends.
Are the questions real interview questions?
Our questions are based on real interview questions from top finance firms. They're curated and refined by industry professionals who have been through these interviews themselves. While we can't guarantee exact matches, our questions cover the same concepts and difficulty levels you'll encounter.

Finance Interview Prep works on any device with a modern web browser—desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. The interface is fully responsive and optimized for all screen sizes.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. Your payment information is processed by Stripe (a PCI-compliant payment processor) and never touches our servers. Your progress data is stored securely and never shared with third parties.
