About Finance Interview Prep
A practice-first question bank for the people actually preparing for finance interviews.
Why this exists
Most finance interview prep is built around passive content. Videos. PDF guides. Lectures. The candidates who actually land offers do something different. They grind real practice questions out loud, fail at them, learn why the answer they gave was wrong, and try again. That loop is what builds the speed and confidence interviewers test for.
Finance Interview Prep was built because the existing platforms (Wall Street Prep, Wall Street Oasis, BIWS, Mergers and Inquisitions, CFI) all lean heavily on the passive model. The candidates who learn fastest were stitching together free Reddit threads, expensive coaching, and friends-who-already-got-the-job. A structured question bank with model answers should have existed. It did not. So this platform was built to be it.
What we do
3,866 real interview questions across 16 specialized tracks. Each question shows the candidate the prompt, accepts their answer, reveals whether they were correct, then explains both the right answer and why common wrong answers feel right. That structure is the entire product. No video lectures. No live coaching. No "complete guide" PDFs of 200 pages that nobody reads.
The 16 tracks: Private Equity (208 questions), Venture Capital (250), Investment Banking (240), Hedge Fund (230), Asset Management (333), Equity Research (218), Private Debt (165), Real Estate (230), Fixed Income (225), Impact Investing (212), Infrastructure Investing (270), Capital Markets (270). Plus 4 free essentials tracks: Accounting (200), Valuation (200), Corporate Finance (215), M&A (220).
How content gets created
Every question on the platform follows the same workflow. Drafted from real interview content (from candidates who recently interviewed, from public interview databases, from primary research). Reviewed for accuracy. Tested with a small group of beta candidates before publishing. Updated quarterly as recruiting cycles change.
Model answers are written and reviewed by working bankers, PE associates, and hedge fund analysts who know what the interviewer actually wants to hear. The "right" answer is rarely the textbook answer. It is the answer that makes an interviewer want to give you the offer.
Pricing philosophy
The competition charges 500 to 1,500 USD for a course you watch and forget. Finance Interview Prep charges 20 EUR per month for a single track or 30 EUR per month for all 16. Cancel anytime. No credit card required to start (5 free questions per premium track plus full access to the 4 essentials tracks).
The lower price is intentional. Most candidates are students or analysts paying out of pocket. Pricing should not be the bottleneck between a smart candidate and getting interview-ready.
What makes the platform different
- Practice first. Not videos. Not lectures. Real questions with model answers.
- Specific over generic. Track-specific content, not one-size-fits-all "finance interview" mush.
- Honest pricing. 20 to 30 EUR per month, no upsells, cancel anytime.
- Active feedback. Wrong answers explained, not just marked wrong.
- Modular. Pick one track or all 16. The system adapts to your weak spots.
- Updated quarterly. Recruiting cycles, market data, fund returns all kept current.
